About him
I'm a thorough blend of serious and not so serious. And coffee. The trick in life, of course, is to get the balance right: to know when to be serious, when not to be, and when to put the kettle on. I think I'm pretty good with a hit rate of at least 43%. The things I take very seriously (in no particular order) are:
Books (modern literary, mainly)
Music (highly eclectic tastes, I'm afraid, all over the place. Some is quite experimental, but much is entirely palatable)
Art (modern, mainly. Various membership cards swiped regularly)
My work (self-employed graphic designer)
Friends (even some of the annoying ones)
Walking (in and out of London, getting a bit lost, swearing a bit, then discovering interesting new stuff)
Meditation (although I must make it clear that I'm not at all new-agey)

I could have probably narrowed that down to: I like creativity, moving around now and then, and coffee. I left off a few other pertinent things about me (clean criminal record, reasonable-to-variable Standard & Poors credit rating, favourite brand of iron) to create an air of mystery. There: you now know as much about me as I do myself. Probably more.

I really don't know specifically who/what I'm looking for. I'd like to be surprised so I'm not going to be too prescriptive here. A few pointers, though. I hope you'll be open, warm and fun. I really hope you're an honest and straightforward person. Perhaps you'll have an interesting job you enjoy doing. You'll have some interesting tales to share and thoughts to express. I'm rather tactile and hope you are too. Holding hands, hugging and kissing are not much fun on one's own. I do hope you never feel it's necessary to totter about in high heels; to get off your face in order to have fun; to live life vicariously through reality tv/soaps/royalty. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means but maybe you'll like coffee every bit as much as I do. And avocados.
